WE ARE OPEN!
Great news! Krueger Dental Associates is now open to all patients to treat all oral health treatment and preventive care needs and we look forward to seeing your smile! As always, the safety and comfort of our patients and team members is our primary concern. To ensure your safety:
- Pre-Screening and Temperature Monitoring
Before your appointment, you will receive a pre-screening wellness form to complete. You will be asked to call or text the office when you arrive so we can direct you to the office.
Please be sure to wear a mask when entering our office.Upon arrival in the office, we will ask screening questions again and we will take your temperature with a non-contact thermometer.
Please be aware that screening for COVID-19 through screening questions and body temperature is helpful, but not definitive.
- Hand Hygiene
Proper handwashing is one of the most important measures our team takes to prevent the spread of infection. Before and after each patient, we wash thoroughly with water and hand soap specifically created for healthcare settings for no less than 20 seconds.
We will ask our patients to use hand sanitizer upon arrival and wash their hands in the treatment room or use hand sanitizer again.
- Pre-Procedural Rinse
You will be asked to rinse with a hydrogen peroxide concentration for 60 seconds before your appointment and again at the end of your appointment.
- Personal Protective Equipment
We possess and use all essential protective equipment, including face masks, gloves, protective eyewear, and protective clothing. Worn by our team and changed regularly, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is designed to protect everyone in our practice from exposure to infectious agents. You will be given safety glasses to wear for your appointment.
- Sterilization and Disinfection of Patient-Care Items and Devices
We have a dedicated infection control and sterilization specialist. Instruments and equipment used in your care are all regularly sterilized and disinfected to ensure that your health is never at risk. Items such as surgical instruments and mouth mirrors are always sterilized before each use.
- Regular Sanitation
Common touchpoints, including seating, workspaces, door handles, railings, and restrooms are sanitized on a regular basis by our team with effective cleaning solutions certified to kill viruses.
Please be aware that any patient who discloses they have had flu-like symptoms that include a high fever, dry cough, or difficulty breathing or, who has been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last three weeks or 21 days will be rescheduled.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our office today for more information.
